Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for day-to-day management of server operating systems, file structure, and directory services.
  • Supports and maintains physical & virtual datacenter server environments.
  • Support and maintains on-premise & cloud resources.
  • Directs the installation of operating systems, network or application software, computer, or network hardware.
  • Documents design specifications, installation and instructions and other system related information.
  • Responsible for software distribution and updates.
  • Defines and analyses objectives, scope, issues, or organizational impact of new technology implementations.
  • Develops system engineering, software engineering, system integration, or distributed system architectures.
  • Directs the analysis, development, and operation of complete computer systems.
  • Monitors server performance and provides security measures, troubleshooting and maintenance as needed.
  • Assists users to diagnose and solve data communication problems.
  • Sets up user accounts, regulating and monitoring file access to ensure confidentiality and proper use.
  • Designs and conducts hardware or software tests.
  • Performs data backups and disaster recovery operations.
  • Designs queries and creates reports for internal customers and/or clients as requested.
  • Creates, builds and configures the server.
  • May perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned and/or required.
  • Participate in outage bridges as necessary, working closely with all IT Departments to resolve business impacting situations.
  • All other duties assigned.


Required Education/Experience:

  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert or equivalent experience required.
  • Fluent in English-verbal and written.  
  • Must posess high proficiency in organization, detail orientation, prioritization, and time management skills to ensure that work related activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team oriented, high demand and fast paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and work with highly sensitive data and information.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with various levels of staff and/or outside contacts.
  • Effective listening skills to ensure understanding of instructions and directions and effectively communicate progress and problems to co-workers and management.
  • Familiarity a variety of office equipment, standard software packages and application and use of personal computers to include the Microsoft Office suite of products.
