Purpose:

Provides support within the organization's imaging environment. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading hardware and equipment to ensure optimal end-user computing performance. The person will primarily be asked to prep and stage PC’s for imaging and help catalog existing depot stock.

 

This is a full-time temporary position working on site at our Anderson location.  The hours will be 8 am to 5 pm Monday-Friday but can vary depending on project needs with overtime for weekend or extended hours. 

 

Reports to: Site IT Supervisor – Anderson Location

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming PC’s
  • Stages PC’s for imaging
  • Perform post imaging testing
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user hardware and peripheral devices.
  • Support development and implementation of new computer projects and new hardware installations.
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements: Job Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Entry level opportunity
  • Basic understanding of a computer and operating system a plus
  • Completes a variety of atypical assignments found in an IT/Logistics location
  • May solve problems of a recurring nature, but takes a broad perspective to problems and may identify new, less obvious solutions
  • Completes work with a limited degree of supervision
