Associate II, Service Delivery Client Network Services

Do you have experience imaging computers?  Continuum Global Solutions- Anderson, IN (will report onsite) - is expanding our Network Services team seeking IT Technicians to prepare and deploy computer and other networking equipment for our large and growing team of ready@home, remote workers.  Under the direction of our hub's Manager, Network Services, you'll work on a fast-paced, collaborative team involved with all aspects of computer equipment readiness, inventory tracking, shipping and receiving.  This is a temporary (possibly temp to perm) position, estimated project through January. PURPOSE:

Provides support and maintenance within the organization's desktop computing environment. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading hardware and equipment to ensure optimal end-user computing performance. Individual will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via email) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required.

SKILLS:

  • Intermediate level, 3+ years of work experience in a similar IT network support or technical role
  • Has developed specialized skills or is multi-skilled in IT through job-related training
  • Completes a variety of atypical assignments (utility player)
  • May solve problems of a recurring nature, but takes a broad perspective to problems and may identify new, less obvious solutions
  • Capable of completing work with a limited degree of supervision
  • Acts as an informal Trainer for colleagues with less experience
  • May lead a team in the performance of a variety of tasks 
  • Beneficial to have specialized external technical certification 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assures that network systems are running according to normal processes
  • Installs, configures, maintains, and distributes system software
  • Performs on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end-users, and recommends and implements corrective solutions
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user and network hardware, peripheral devices, printing/scanning devices, presentation equipment, software, and other products in order to deliver required desktop service levels
  • Support development and implementation of new computer projects and new hardware installations
  • Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future hardware and organizational hardware needs
  • Assists in supporting network servers and associated systems
  • Assists with the administration and maintenance of telephony systems, such as provisioning handsets, setting up extensions, supporting user requests
  • Updates and maintains end-user computing documentation and instructions
  • All other duties as assigned
