IT Logistic Manager

This is a brand new position for Continuum, which was created to support supply chain processes and drive efficiencies support our fast-moving, quickly growing Ready@Home program! We need your sense of urgency and keen organization skills, your ability to effectively communicate with operations teams, quick reaction time when situations are fluid, and strategic thinking and business smarts to help develop and manage inbound and outbound inventory.  We'll be tapping into your expertise as we evolve from spreadsheet planning to a true ERP. This role will be onsite and hand's on in Anderson, IN with future opportunity to work 1-2 days/week from a home office.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 

  • Drive the review, analysis, and development of the supply chain plans to support business growth and financial objectives
  • Deliver strategic plans for deploying supply chain improvement processes and procedures and be capable of communicating them
  • Manage ongoing portfolio of Supply Chain processes, driving continuous improvement efforts
  • Interface cross functionally with multiple departments to outline supply chain efficiencies
  • Build relationships with key supply chain contacts for products needed, collaborating and drive action that improves Continuum business results and supply chain performance
  • Monitor and adjust order patterns as needed
  • Ensure the right items, at the right quantity, to provide optimal employee experience
  • Work closely cross functionally to identify short-term demand changes and make appropriate adjustments to the forecasted need
  • Develop and own supply chain KPIs (including forecast accuracy and attainment) and scorecard reporting, communicating performance, root cause, and corrective action
  • Handle special projects as needed and perform other duties as requested by management
  • Drive alignment of forecast with senior management
  • Track performance, determine root causes of variance and corrective actions
  • Inventory and Asset Management including WAH Headsets 
  • Manage the anticipated demand for new/seasonal hiring and/or new markets
  • Partner cross functionally with Sales/Account Management, WFM, HR, Security, IT, Talent Acquisition, Training, and Operations to transform supply chain programs and strategies which contribute to enterprise goals - consistent with the overall corporate strategy, while considering supply chain constraints

 

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree in business, supply chain or related field 
  • Minimum 5-7 years practical experience in supply chain planning or operations 
  • Proven track record with leadership, management and team facilitation, problem solving and employee management
  • Superior attention to detail, strong organization skills, and responsiveness to stakeholders in the operations and business teams
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of audiences verbally and in writing 
  • Ability to perform ad hoc data analysis in support of supply chain planning activities and evaluation of past performance
