Job Summary:
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management within the contact center. This individual formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to site leadership and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • HRBP collaborates with VP Talent Acquisition to ensures all recruiting goals to attract, hire, onboard, and complete orientation are met and are compliant.


  • Establishes a partnership with Site Director to drive achievement of goals and collaborate on strategic planning and performance management for site.
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations, is consistent and fair.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Develop comprehensive employee engagement, rewards, and retention strategies to reduce attrition and positively impact tenure.
  • Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Approves terms for internal promotions and transfers.
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Identifies training needs for business unit and individual executive coaching needs.
  • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
  • Site POC for HR compliance, payroll, and benefits (including LOA, FMLA, ADAAA, & Worker’s Compensation)

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ideally SAP Successfactors.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 years of HR experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
  • Experience working in complex, fast paced, high transaction volume, heavily non- exempt organization. Must be comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment and able to act and react quickly to the needs of the transforming business. The ideal candidate will have a background supporting customer service/care employees and their stakeholders (BPO services or State/Local Government experience a plus).
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws, specifically strong understanding and enforcement experience of New York City labor laws and covid- related requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential desired

Salary Range:

  • Minimum of $82,500 to $137,500 maximum annual per year
  • Salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with position

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
