Job Summary
We are hiring for a Manager Human Resource based in Cebu, Philippines who will support and oversee day-to-day HR Operations. The role will be responsible to enhance the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices. We are looking for someone that can help drive change within the organization to make Continuum an employer of choice.
An ideal candidate would have HR experience in a BPO Customer Care environment, be well versed with Philippines Labor guidelines and remuneration. Additionally, the candidate would need to be a HR Business Partner to the Leadership Team taking responsibility for developing a strategic approach to creating an engaged workplace that attracts and retains talent.

Role Reports into: Senior Manager Human Resources
Job Responsibilities:
Operational Support
- Functions as a strategic business partner and advisor to senior Operations Leaders regarding key operational, organizational and management issues
- Establishes and implements a comprehensive Human Resources plan that effectively communicates and supports the companies mission, vision and company culture
Employee Relations:
- Foster a positive work environment and address employee concerns.
- Manage employee grievances and conflicts, facilitating resolution through mediation or other methods.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Administer and implement HR policies
- Performance Management:
- Manage performance appraisal processes and provide guidance on career development.
- Address performance concerns and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensures the conduct regular performance reviews and feedback/coaching to employees.
- Provide guidance on the establishment of performance metrics and goals for employees.
Onboarding and Training:
- Design and execute comprehensive onboarding programs for new employees.
- Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Develop or conduct training on HR-related topics for employees and managers.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Administer employee benefits plans, including health insurance, provident fund, and other statutory benefits.
- Conduct salary surveys and recommend adjustments to maintain market competitiveness.
Talent Management:
- Identify high-potential employees and develop succession planning strategies.
- Implement employee engagement initiatives to promote retention.
- Identify the reasons and work with stake holders to reduce the attrition
- Work as a bridge between employees and management
Compliance:
- Stay updated on Philippine Labor Code and other relevant employment regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all HR documentation and record-keeping requirements.
- Understanding and interpretation of Labor laws and other applicable laws
- Reduction in DOLE/ Compliance cases
- Inter-department Relations:
- Partner with Operations leadership to understand the business requirement
- Introduce policy/process for smooth working of Operations department
- Regular communication with Operations department to ensure alignment on business goals
- Coordination with Payroll team for timely submission of inputs and to address any concern related to F&F
Additional Requirements: Job Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven working experience as HR Manager for at least 5 years from a BPO organization.
- Strong understanding of Philippine Labor Code, employment laws and HR best practices
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution and active listening skills
- Proficiency in HR management systems and software
- Strong leadership abilities to guide and motivate teams
- Vendor and stakeholders management, both internal and external
