Director of Recruiting Data and Strategy

(Remote/Work from home- United States)

 

This key Talent Director is responsible for uncovering data-driven insights to better attract, assess and hire a high volume of new employees. In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner for recruiting leadership to use analytics to inform practices and overall recruitment strategy.  You’ll be required to translate business needs into talent acquisition solutions and leverage resources to achieve effective sourcing strategies.  You will improve the strategic framework and execution model to scale our vendor and product partnerships in a meaningful way. You will manage Continuum’s current portfolio of relationships and negotiate new performance-based contracts while managing overall performance against company hiring growth targets. This includes designing scalable business processes and managing partner organizations.  You are the subject matter expert for programmatic advertising tasked to drive the content, strategy, and spend of budget to ensure engagement of the right audience. Reporting to the VP Global Talent Acquisition, and in partnership with the global recruiting team, you will drive continuous process improvement to lead generation that result in meeting our hiring plans and goals.

 

Business and financial acumen are critical to the role as well as the ability to develop and communicate business strategy and operational objectives through data analytics to internal stakeholders and external partners. This key position requires strong data gathering, analysis, and reporting skills, the ability to pivot quickly as business needs change, tenacity to work under pressure and scrutiny, impeccable critical thinking skills, persuasive communication, and collaboration skills. Experience with programmatic platforms (Shaker, Symphony Talent/Smashfly or similar) is strongly desired, as is knowledge of global job boards, search engines, and best practices. International market experience a plus (APAC, EMEA, LATAM & Caribbean).

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Direct channel strategy and outreach including all budgets (P&L) and performance measures to meet and exceed company goals
  • Leverages data, including predictive analytics, to anticipate and to respond to business demands, external market conditions, and determine areas of focus and to scale the team appropriately. Oversees partnerships with vendors and ensures cost-effective, high-tech solutions are in place to provide excellent service to the TA team.
  • Execute recruitment marketing and employer branding strategies
  • Tracking and measurement of all campaigns, including managing post-campaign analysis to report KPIs, ROI, and effectiveness – prepare reports for leadership and stakeholders
  • Oversee budget, understand key metrics and data that drive future tactics, and measure, analyze, report, and make strategic recommendations on all spend to maximize cost effectiveness
  • Campaign Management – assist to optimize performance of recruitment marketing channels with (Emails, LinkedIn, Indeed, & social media) to improve candidate quality and time to fill. Keep abreast of latest trends in social media channels
  • Research marketing and advertising trends in the customer care industry
  • Synthesize candidate trends to help inform and drive future talent initiatives with cross functional partners.
  • Provide thought leadership on topics of recruiting analytics and related intersections with People Analytics and the broader HR community
  • Partner closely with other recruiting leaders and recruiting product teams to improve and scale our end-to-end candidate experience
  • Demonstrated track record of dealing with very sensitive data, and exercising proven judgment and discretion

 

What You Bring to the Role

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a field that emphasizes analyzing, displaying, or reporting on data (e.g., computer science, math, engineering, economics, statistics, organizational psychology)
  • Experience working specifically with recruiting data (e.g., funnel analysis, candidate engagement, and other recruiting-specific work)
  • You are data-driven and have ability to use financial and operational data to prioritize, accelerate and improve decision-making
  • Considerable experience researching, negotiating contracts, procuring, and working in strategic and vendor partnerships
  • Demonstrated ability to be a trusted advisor to senior leaders and executive sponsors
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding, and dynamic environment
  • Working knowledge of social, digital, and traditional advertising and marketing concepts, terminology, media math, strategic plan execution, Global market experience a plus
  • Excellent communications and people skills
  • SAP SuccessFactors ATS experience ideal
  • Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company experience strongly desired
  • PMP and Six Sigma Certification Preferred
