Business Solutions Bid Manager

Position to be filled in the Philippines.

Reporting to the Vice President of Business Solutions, the Business Solutions Bid Manager will be responsible for end-to-end project management and proposal documents/materials of the Sales bid pursuit and alignment to the requested timeline and support of the content evolution and management within the dedicated proposal software application.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Project management for all proactive proposal and/or RFx, response development
  • Responsible for seeking clarification from procurement officials
  • Control all amendments and modifications that might occur during the RFx process
  • Responsible for content preparation, conceptualizing responses, and writing compelling proposals with the support of the Sr. Proposal Manager, including but not limited to overall bid strategy, win themes and strategic messaging
  • Maintain, update, and create proposal templates
  • Ensure timescales are achieved at each step of the bid process, including all internal governance, while taking the initiative in setting realistic deadlines
  • Co-ordinate and plan all prospect/client presentations required as part of the bid submission
  • With support of cross-functional teams assist in building high level implementation milestones
  • Implement standardized processes for all aspects of bid/proposal operations
  • Adjust to shifting priorities, stringent deadlines, last minute requirements, and occasional evening/weekend hours to accomplish tasks within non-negotiable project deadlines
  • Work and lead project responsibilities with cross-functional teams
  • Create, improve, and maintain tender documentation in different formats
  • Act as a knowledge repository and work with the Sales Team on planning activities, proactively contributing to the RFx and positioning us for success
  • Drive continuous improvement, through post-bid reviews
  • Works on a variety of assignments with overlapping time frames.
  • Understands Continuum’s corporate capabilities in order to identify opportunities that support our core business functions versus those opportunities that do not
  • Requires judgment to resolve issues or make recommendations to current or new solution opportunities with clients and prospects
  • Coordinates the conference calls, generating notes, follow up with bid resources on deliverables, ensuring bid governance documentation is complete, etc.
  • Demonstrates good judgment for selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Provides resolutions to an assortment of problems of moderately complex scope; uses judgment within defined practices and procedures.
  • Work is evaluated upon completion to ensure objectives have been met. Errors are limited and authority to make decisions is at a baseline level.
  • Other responsibilities as requested, including but not limited to, the overall maintenance of our proposal content within our specified tools.
  • Analyze client requirements to develop and implement internal assignments and timelines to meet solution requirements.
  • Interface with upper management to understand and provide solutions based on business needs.
  • Ensure that proposal requirements are adhered to and identify/address issues as needed.
  • Develop and monitor bid schedules and track due dates.
  • Ensure applicable compliance with internal bid processes and assist with documenting revisions as internal bid governance requirements evolve.


Ability to support US work shift (preferably Eastern Time hours)

Advanced Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)

  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills with professional communication skills both verbal and written business correspondence; planning, organizing and coordination skills.  
  • Good communication skills both in person and in writing.
  • Project management skills with the ability to gather, organize, interpret, and collate data from multiple sources to manage proposal timelines and create high level implementation milestones for client and prospect proposals.  PMP Certification preferred but not required.

  • English Proficiency B2; upper to intermediate
  • Oral and written comprehension
  • Proper use of language
  • Basic knowledge of bid management principles, processes, and best practices.
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in BPO industry and relevant work experience with a firm understanding of all key functional areas / support as this role becomes the single point of contact for all workstream leads ranging from Talent Acquisition, Training, Quality, Operations, WFM, IT, Reporting, Security, etc.

Studies & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in any course, preferably Business or Business Management - Desirable

Experience with content management software is a plus
