Managing Director – Asia Pacific

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Establishes overall direction and strategic initiatives for a portfolio of clients and manages Site Directors
  • Manage a regional team of 3,000 + FTEs located across Philippines and India
  • Demonstrates sound business judgment, innovation in approaching business challenges, and the ability to translate a strategic plan into operating results
  • Attends and participates in prospective sales pursuits
  • Institutes plans and programs to maintain and/or enhance competitive market position and build the company's brand within the region
  • Develops annual long-range profit and strategic plans necessary to ensure future sales and profit growth
  • Tracks and responds to changes in market conditions by implementing necessary changes to the organization
  • Anticipates and alerts the senior executive team of financial issues and opportunities within their organizational scope
  • Motivate and lead a high-performance management team; attract, recruit and retain top talent; provide mentoring as a cornerstone for succession planning
  • Represent the organization with clients and local communities; establish and maintain effective relationships internally and externally
  • Ensures all practices are carried out under general company guidelines in cooperation with business practices of countries in which Continuum has established a business presence
  • Directs and controls the activities of one or more functional areas, divisions, product groups or service areas through senior managers and /or directors who have overall responsibility for the successful operation of those assigned areas.

Experience Required

 

  • A minimum of 15 years of demonstrated experience leading and managing a regional delivery organization within the BPO Industry.
  • Proven leadership ability to attract, retain and manage a team of direct reports and an employee population of 3,000+ employees.
  • A track record of reducing costs, managing risks, and delivering against SLAs within a matrixed environment leveraging technology and human capital.
  • Experience with both internationally based clients and US based clients operating offshore.
  • Strong business analytics and financial acumen
  • An excellent reputation of partnering with other service providers and practices; including various internal practice areas.
  • Strong customer references: a successful record of managing and enhancing client relationships to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Subject matter expertise in outsourcing solutions, business process redesign, innovative solutions, and organizational transformation
  • English oral and written proficiency required.
  • Based in Cebu or Manila  
  • Travel required up to 35%

Education

 

  • An undergraduate degree is required, an advanced degree is desirable.
