Job Summary

We are hiring a Manager, SAP Enterprise Application, who will manage SAP Enterprise Resource Planning, Recruiting, Onboarding, HR Employee Central, Employee Central Payroll and other SAP applications globally. The Director will be responsible for maintaining all existing SAP functions, leading new integrations and global implementation efforts for future enhancements. You will also be responsible for managing the Global SAP framework across multiple countries in a high volume hiring, large organization employee base. The Manager will lead the coordination, communication, and integration of suppliers to support the achievement of technical, financial and performance objectives.

This position collaborates closely with multiple departments to manage business needs with customized functionality requirements within the SAP ecosystem. We are seeking a leader that is action-oriented, will be at ease with cross-functional collaboration, has strong SAP technical skills, knowledge with most recent releases in SAP applications and services and well versed with SAP practices. (SuccessFactors and S/4HANA)

A thorough understanding of complex high-volume recruiting, payroll and employee management within SAP is critical.

Role Reports into: Managing Director, Infrastructure Services 

 

 

Job Responsibilities:  

 

  • Develop, lead, and implement the global SAP strategy in alignment with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
  • Provide strategic leadership of short- and long-term SAP enterprise application(s) initiatives using current or new application technology to enhance the organizational strategic plan.
  • Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems/applications and develop strategies for improving current or new technologies within SAP.
  • Anticipate business needs and establish IT strategies to improve application efficiencies.
  • Serve as project manager for the implementation of enterprise-wide applications and the integration with other applications and systems.
  • Plan, organize, and lead the testing and installation of application updates/upgrades.
  • Identify possible training and system enhancements, develop benchmark measures to evaluate productivity, and establish metrics and reports for application usage and satisfaction.
  • Provide reporting tools and/or dashboards to business units for data analysis.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals for system/application upgrades, configuration changes, maintenance renewals, and software and hardware purchases to ensure appropriate protections are included and costs reduced.
  • Oversee relationships with SAP solution providers, system integrators, and consultants.
  • Oversee multiple projects and their requirements, while prioritizing critical needs.

 

Additional Requirements: Job Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in information science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Information Technology and application management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Must have deep understanding of SAP applications with specific concentration on Recruiting, Payroll and Employee Central.
  • Must have knowledge of SuccessFactors and S/4HANA.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, vendors, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Analytical skills, experience Integrating data from multiple systems, and ability to effectively assess and manage risk.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead a small team through dynamic change.
  • Ability to adapt to change, quick to implement and highly collaborative
  • Strong at strategic planning and leading change required.
  • Possesses strong business and financial acumen and skills.
  • Decision maker, strategic thinker, and planner.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Conversational Spanish is an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of multi-channel service center processes and operations
  • Certifications in SAP will be added advantage
